Finconsulting was founded by its Managing Partner Lorenzo Gianello, inspired by the need for a trusted, independent and impartial guidance which international investors have been increasingly showing, in the absence of any conflict of interest.
Lorenzo Maria Gianello was born in Rome in 1976. He attended the Massimiliano Massimo Institute, one of the most prestigious schools in Italy with one of the highest standing alumni registries, obtained a doctoral degree in law from University of Roma Tre, and was awarded an international diploma in business administration with distinction from University of California Berkeley. He worked for Merrill Lynch in the USA and for ABN AMRO Group in Italy. He has been residing in Luxembourg since Since 2006, where over the years he has managed a large number of structuring and restructuring projects on behalf of banks, financial institutions of different size and type, and family offices.
Moreover, he was founding partner of Baumann & Partners S.A., a Luxembourg investment management firm, and held a number of positions as board member and managing director for Luxembourg and international investment companies, including funds. Lorenzo has a deep and broad experience both in investment management and creation, structural management and improvement of a variety of investment vehicles.
He has lived in Rome, Milan, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Luxembourg, and is fluent in Italian, English and French.
